Hey y'all! I've got something in store for you that you won't want to miss! Recently, I made a proposal with y'all. If I could get to 65 "likes" on Facebook, I would contribute to a giveaway. Emily from Insanity Rules made a similar proposal for 100 "likes", and guess what?! Y'all did it! So it's due time to thank y'all and give you a great opportunity to win some awesome prizes!

Week(end) Wraps and Snaps: Family, Fortune, and Fun!

As y'all can imagine, the Fourth of July week and weekend brought lots of activities, photo ops, and memories with it.

This week, I enjoyed a great Fourth of July celebration with my boyfriend, Joe, and friends. You can check out my wild Independence Day adventure here.

On Thursday, I received my Oscar De La Renta scarf and sunglasses that I won during the giveaway from Emily at Life, etc. I absolutely LOVE these two accessories, and have already been playing around, figuring out a bunch of different ways to flaunt them. Thank you, Emily!

DIY: American Flag Nails

For a few years, I worked in two different positions that required me to have either clear or french nails, no variety. Once I moved on to a position where I had more freedom to decorate my fingers as I pleased, I decided to start experimenting with different designs and colors.

With the Fourth of July coming up in just a few days, I decided what better way to get ready for this holiday than to treat my blogging friends with a little American Flag nails tutorial? :-) In just 3 easy steps, you can flaunt this fun design, too!
