Happy NYE!

New Year's Eve is always a faint memory in the back of a person's mind. Most people can't remember what they ate three days ago for lunch, but they can tell you where they were and who they were with on New Year's Eve three years ago.

I've done so many different crazy adventures on New Year's Eve, from the typical house party, to a huge DJ'd concert, to a saloon bar, even to sitting on the couch at home.

New Year, New Perspectives

As 2011 comes to an end, I love to go back through my photos and take a mental "snapshot" of the year.

My friend from Hawaii posted a good quote recently about pictures, saying that,"You never see the hard times in a photograph, but that's what gets you from one happy snapshot to the next."

Sure life has it's ups and downs, but being that New Year's Eve is fast approaching, a little rosy retrospection never hurt anyone! Let's take a little snapshot review of my past year:

Happy Holiday Catchup!

Contrary to many assumptions, I did not die in Texas! I just fell off the face of the blogging world for a while. Did you know that college is actually somewhat challenging? Imagine that.

All jokes aside, I have (until recently) been up to my neck in studying and, of course, sight-seeing in Texas! I suppose it is only appropriate to attempt to catch up the last few months under one blog. Here goes!

Month of August Update!

Well, long time no blog! I felt I was WELL overdue in catching y’all up with what has been going on in my life!

School is definitely in full swing now. I go to classes 5 days a week, and work 3 days a week. Weekends have been glorious, and I definitely have been taking advantage of both sleeping in and going out and doing fun things! (And mom, you’ll be proud to know that sleeping in has changed to 10 am, not 1 in the afternoon!)

School life

Hello family and friends!

Since schedules are truly chaotic these days, I thought it would be best to create a website that was easy enough to navigate for everyone to read in order to see how things are going on my end!

Texas is great! And by great I mean unbearably hot! Now, I enjoyed the weather when I first got here. Every time I'd step outside I felt as if I was stepping into a sauna, and I absolutely loved it! However, we got rain just 30 minutes south of my town, and the humidity definitely took its toll during my first day on campus!
